Daniel Radcliffe would only encourage his son to be an actor if he could do it without being “famous”.

Daniel Radcliffe said that he would only support his son's choice to be an actor if he could do it without becoming famous.

The 34-year-old actor, who became famous at 12 for his role in 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone', mentioned that while he wouldn't want to discourage his 14-month-old son from pursuing his dreams, he has concerns about him following in his famous father's footsteps.

When asked if he would encourage his son to pursue acting, Radcliffe told E! News:

"Not unless he really wants to. I don't want to stop him from doing that, but if he can do something other than acting, such as working behind the scenes, it would lead to a healthier life in many ways. If he can act without becoming famous, then great, I can encourage it."
