Nick Cannon said his ex-wife Mariah Carey has moved on from their past and no longer wants him. The comedian and the singer were married from 2008 to 2016 and now peacefully co-parent their 13-year-old twins.
Since their split, Nick has fathered 10 more children with five different women
Nick told E! News in August he hoped he and Mariah could give their relationship a second try.
He said at the time: “We belong together,” before adding he would “absolutely” get back together with the five-time Grammy winner – adding it would be “stupid” if they did, although he’s now admitted that Mariah may not be as keen to give their marriage another try in a candid conversation with People.
‘Yeah, she don’t want me,’ said Nick gamely during the Fox Fall Press Day, adding: ‘She’s moved on from my crazy antics.’
Nick also told the outlet about how he was enjoying seeing his kids get back to school season: “It reminds me of when I was in school, school shopping for clothes, getting the kids excited.”
Nick spoke about his son Golden Sagon, seven, whose mother Brittany Bell announced he has skipped two grades : “I have a seven-year-old in fourth grade (son Golden Sagon), and he’s just so smart that even school is boring to him.
“So it’s like getting him re-engaged and excited because he had so much fun during the summer.
Meanwhile he regards the prospect of Monroe and Moroccan entering their teenage years as ‘very scary,’ he frankly acknowledged.
‘Teenagers are scary. I feel like I’m still a teenager. To see my daughter literally becoming a young woman before my eyes, it is very scary,’ he said.
