Elon Musk is responding to Grimes’ desire to change her appearance.

The musician, 34, revealed on Monday on Twitter that she was interested in getting the cosmetic procedure.

“Has anyone done elf ear mods with a good outcome? Im scared about ear cartilage having a hard time healing. Especially as a musician this surgery seems risky but I’ve wanted it my whole life. Curious about peoples experiences !” she tweeted.

But Musk, who shares two children with Grimes, replied with apparent disapproval — and some trolling.

“The downside of elf ear surgery probably outweighs the upside,” the Tesla CEO, 51, tweeted back.

Grimes then replied, “Tbh this sounds like a job for crispr,” referencing the repetitive DNA sequences observed in bacteria with “spacer” DNA sequences in between the repeats that exactly match viral sequences, according to the Jackson Laboratory.

She added, “Sad to be born just a few generations too early 🧝🏻‍♀️😪🧝🏻‍♀️.”

In another tweet, the mom-of-two asked fans if they knew of any “great, safe, reliable people” who could add “vampire caps” to her teeth. Needless to say, some raised eyebrows at her questions, but she explained she’s publicly discussing her desire for the procedures to remove the stigma of plastic surgery.

“Sorry if weird to discuss this openly, just seems unhealthy how everyone in media hides body [modifications], then people feel self-conscious,” she wrote. “I’m also less interested in conventional beauty (I will keep my nose) – but more so, is there anything else that wud look sick?”

Musk and Grimes dated for three years before calling it quits in September 2021. They are the parents of son X Æ A-Xii who was born May 4, 2020, and daughter Exa Dark Sideræl Musk, who was welcomed via surrogate in December of last year after their break up. Musk told The Wall Street Journal in 2019 that he loves Grimes for her “wild fae artistic creativity and hyper intense work ethic.”
