Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) and Chris Evans ( Captain America), are reuniting for a $100+ million film with Ozark star, director, and exec-producer Jason Bateman aboard to direct, called Project Artemis which was just acquired by Apple.

Plot details are largely being kept under wraps, though Deadline, which was the first to report the news, says the movie is set against the space race.

Evans and Johansson were supposed to join forces again in Apple Studios’ Ghosted, but Johansson had to bow out due to scheduling. Evans now stars in that movie, which is currently in production, opposite his Knives Out costar Ana de Armas.

Apple’s latest acquisition arrives after Apple TV+ became the first streaming service to have a film, CODA, win Best Picture at the Oscars. It has multiple other buzzed-about projects coming down the pipe, including Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro.

Project Artemis marks the second Apple project for Johansson, who’s starring in the genre-bending Bride.

Project Artemis was written by debut screenwriter Rose Gilroy, daughter of writer-director Dan Gilroy – known for movies such as Nightcrawler and Bourne Legacy – and actress René Russo.
