Miley Cyrus has been cast in Dolly Parton’s upcoming movie Mountain Magic Christmas.

On Monday NBC revealed that the 29-year-old pop star will be joining her godmother, 76, on the small screen this holiday season.

The movie was first announced in May and now has a full ensemble.

Dolly Parton’s Mountain Magic Christmas film will also feature appearances from Miley’s dad Billy Ray Cyrus, as well as Jimmy Fallon, Willie Nelson, Jimmie Allen, and Zach Williams.

According to a press release from NBC, the film takes off when “Three Wise Mountain Men” appear to Parton, guiding her on a journey through her past and help her become reinspired by the magic of Christmas.

When Parton finally returns to the present to film her big special, she shares what she’s learned, realizing that Christmas is really about faith, heart, and the people we surround ourselves with.

Parton is no stranger to holiday content, as she’s previously released three Christmas albums: 1984’s Once Upon a Christmas with the late Kenny Rogers, 1990’s Home for Christmas, and 2020’s A Holly Dolly Christmas. In recent years, she’s produced and starred in some of her own specials, including Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love and A Holly Dolly Christmas, premiering on NBC and CBS respectively. Most recently, Parton produced and starred in Dolly Parton’s Christmas on the Square for Netflix
