1. They collaborated together on a song in 2012
Rocky was featured in a remix of Rihanna’s single “Cockiness (Love It),” a song about the singer’s sexual dominance over her partner. It includes suggestive lyrics, like, “I can be your dominatrix / Just submit to my every order / Enter my diamond matrix / Devour my golden flower.”
After the song’s release, the duo performed together at the MTV Video Music Awards.
2. Rihanna starred in Rocky’s ‘Fashion Killa’ music video in September 2013
Rihanna starred as Rocky’s love interest in his video for “Fashion Killa,” a single from his debut studio album “Long. Live. A$AP.”
In an interview with 106 & Park, the rapper was asked why he chose Rihanna to be in his video, to which he replied, “She’s a fashion killa in my eyes. I respect her jigginess. I respect her fashion sense.”
He added: “The chemistry was just organic. We were cool, we were chilling, it was whatever. We were faded. We were having fun.”
3. Rumours first surfaced that the pair were dating in January 2020
After it surfaced that Rihanna had ended her relationship with businessman Jameel after three years, The Sun reported she and Rocky ‘shared a hotel suite’ during a trip to New York for a concert and were forming a relationship.
However, at the time, a source denied this rumour to E! saying that Rihanna was single, noting: ‘She wants to be single and isn’t going to jump into something. She’s hanging out with ASAP Rocky, but she is not dating him.’

Months after dating rumors were initially denied, A$AP appeared alongside Rihanna in Fenty Skin‘s ad cameo. The ad also featured Lil Nas X, Tommy Genesis, and Halima Aden.
5. The couple spent the December 2020 holidays together
Nearly one month later, they are spotted kissing in Barbados, where they reportedly are spending the holidays with her family. “Spending Christmas together was an obvious step for Rihanna and A$AP,” a source tells E.T. “They’ve known each other for so long as friends and in a work setting, which makes it so easy for them to get along, travel together, and be involved in each other’s lives to the full extent. They always have such a good time together and definitely seem in love.”
6. ASAP Rocky gushed over Rihanna in an interview in May 2021
In GQ’s 2021June cover story, (published in May), Asap Rocky gushed over Rihanna, calling her “the love of my life” and “my lady,” officially confirming the dating rumors.

7. The couple were seen filming a music video in July 2021
Asap Rocky and Rihanna were seen together in the Bronx, New York in between takes of filming a music video on July 11, 2021.
For the shoot, Riri is seen wearing a pink and orange fluffy jacket, paired with lime green heels and a bright yellow bandeau while ASAP co-ordinates with a bright green fluffy hat with purple streaks.
The two were seen hugging and holding hands as they took a stroll through the Bronx with the film crew.
8. The couple visited Nicki Minaj and her son in July 2021
On September 6, Nicki Minaj shared a picture on Instagram of when Rihanna and Rocky came to visit her, her husband Kenneth Petty and the couple’s son, writing in the caption, “Love her downnnnnnn.” She also added the hashtags “Queen Rih” and “Caribbean girls run it.”
9. They made their Met Gala debut as a couple in September 2021
In an interview with E! News’ Daily Pop the entrepreneur admitted they weren’t even sure if there were gong to attend the fashion night of the year.
‘We weren’t even sure if we were going to go, so separately we were planning our looks just to be prepared,’ she said’ We ended up getting ready together and going and I didn’t even realise we were on a carpet together until somebody said, “You’re making your debut,” and I was like, “Oh, sh*t”.

10. The couple reveal on January 31, 2022, they were expecting their first child together
Rihanna revealed the exciting baby news on Jan. 31, after she was photographed showing off her baby bump in New York City. This will be the first child for both musicians.
