It’s safe to say that Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler share one of the most wholesome friendships in Hollywood.

The pair have been friends for more than 30 years and disclosed on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” in 2019, that they actually met in 1990 at Jerry’s Deli in Los Angeles.

Sandler said that they had an instant connection when they met in the early 1990s.

“She crunched too loud,” Sandler joked, before adding: “I knew I was going to be friends with her. I didn’t know I was going to be making movies with her. We both didn’t know that, we were young and we didn’t have jobs quite then.”

Despite being friends for 20 years, most of the public was unaware of the actors’ connection until they starred in the 2011 rom-com “Just Go With It.”

The pair noted that Sandler’s family would go to Aniston’s house “a lot” when they weren’t on set.

“She makes pizzas, she gives us M&Ms,” Sandler said. “There’s a lot of nice TVs. I hide in one of her rooms. She hangs out with my wife and all their other friends. I tend to hide.”

He added: “My favorite image is when a good song comes on and I look across the room I see Aniston hear a good song and start dancing. She’s a great little dancer.”

At the time, Aniston also stated that working together was a “dream” and that the pair were already contemplating working on another film together.

In December 2021, Sandler opened up about his friendship with the Emmy-winning actress and how she “tag-teams” with his wife Jackie to help him live a healthier lifestyle.

“[Jennifer is] certainly not afraid to have me show up on a set, and in my trailer is a whole bunch of whatever shake I should be drinking and it’s usually green,” he joked to The Hollywood Reporter. “And I actually drink it so I can look her in the eye.”

“She and my wife have a nice time tag-teaming to try to make me a healthier human being. Like, they want me to stretch more — eventually be able to touch my toes, which I’m about 9 inches away from,” Sandler shared.

Aniston and Sandler had the opportunity to work together again in the 2019 Netflix comedy mystery movie Murder Mystery and it’s sequel.

In the film, Sandler and Aniston play a married couple hoping to rekindle their romance who are framed for murder.

The longtime pals shared a funny story about preparing for their kissing scenes in the first film.

“She sends me texts, ‘Nine days till kissing — here it comes,’ ” Sandler told the Associated Press in 2019.

However, the Horrible Bosses actress went on to share that before the cameras started rolling, she made sure Sandler did one very important thing to prepare.

“I did have him learn to oil the beard up a little bit,” she shared before he added, “Yeah, she wanted me to have a nice, soft beard.”

Sandler then joked that his wife Jackie and two children love the kissing scenes.

“The only awkward part is hearing my wife on the side going, ‘Harder! Harder! Kiss her harder! Deeper!'” Sandler said. “They watched the kissing. They love it. They love Aniston, and they want her to have good things and they say, ‘Give her something nice.'”

Aniston added: “That was awkward.”

While promoting Murder Mystery 2, on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, questioned about her and Adam’s decadeslong friendship. When asked if they’ve given each other advice over the years, Jen immediately laughed, before candidly sharing:

“If I get anything from him, it’s ‘What are you doing?’ — usually based on someone she’s dating.

“‘What are you doing? What’s wrong with you?’” she added, impersonating Adam.
