Millie Bobby Brown might be busy fighting Stranger Things’ season 4 resident villain, Vecna, but she’s set to star in a new Netflix sci-fi movie.

According to Deadline, Millie will appear in the Russo Brother’s upcoming film The Electric State. The film was originally set up with Universal, but after over a year of negotiations, Netflix officially closed the deal for the rights to the sci-fi epic.

Based on Simon Stålenhag’s graphic novel of the same name, the sci-fi thriller is set in a retro-futuristic past and centers on an orphaned teenager as she travels through the American West landscape in the hopes of finding her brother. The young protagonist must survive the bizarre new world with the help of a sweet but mysterious robot and an eccentric drifter.

Deadline also reports that Chris Pratt is rumored to join the film, which will be directed by Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame duo Joe and Anthony Russo, but the actor’s involvement has not been officially announced.

While Netflix has yet to confirm when The Electric State will begin filming, Deadline claims it’s “looking at a fall start date.”
