WandaVision was the first Marvel series to premiere on Disney+ and it was a resounding success. Kathryn Hahn’s  Agatha Harkness, the villain of the show, quickly became a fan favorite. The character even had her own song that became immensely popular, to the point where it was released as a single.

During the EW and PEOPLE Emmys red carpet live stream in 2021, Hahn stopped to chat with PEOPLE and revealed that while she had a blast playing the villainous Agatha Harkness, her kids didn’t find her too amusing — or too cool.

“My kids would just be making constant fun,” Hahn admitted, referring to when she would rehearse at home. (She shares two children, Leonard and Mae, with husband Ethan Sandler.) “Like my kid walked in one time while I was practicing my witch moves and he was like, ‘Oh my God, Mom!’ Like it was as if he just saw me just getting out of the shower. He was so embarrassed.”

Fortunately, Hahn didn’t seem to take the slight to heart. “It’s a little cool, he just can’t let me see it. He’s a teenager,” she explained with a laugh.

WandaVision was nominated for eight Primetime Emmys, including Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series and actor nominations for Hahn, Elizabeth Olsen, and Paul Bettany.

The actress explained that Leonard and Mae were suspiciously nice to her after WandaVision started its run and that the whole family seemed proud.

Because of the success of the show, Marvel’s Kevin Feige announced Hahn would get her own show on Disney+ called Agatha: House of Harkness. And now, in an interview for Entertainment Weekly, Hahn mentioned that what she’s seen so far about the show is “exactly what I would have hoped and dreamt.”
